MACE at QUAD

Since its successful launch at the end of September QUAD, Derby’s new gallery, cinema and cafe bar has become a great place to see material from the MACE archive.

So far we have supplied a wide variety of titles which can be seen in the BFI’s Mediatheque viewing system housed by QUAD (and don’t forget these titles are also available to see at the London Mediatheque at the BFI South Bank),  provided two short programmes which are being shown on QUAD’s digital screens as counterpoints to the main exhibition and presented a Brian Clough screening in its cinema.

But that’s not where it ends.  On Sunday 30 November we are presenting a screening as part of a season celebrating the bi-centenary of Thomas Cook.  Our contribution will be a compilation celebrating the travel and holiday exploits of Midlanders.  So whether that means a bucket and spade trip to Skegness or something more exotic we’ll hopefully be able to put off the onset of the winter blues for a little while longer.

Information about all of QUAD’s exciting activities, including everything we do with them, can be found here.
