A Fresh & Constantly Developing Approach…

The New Year brings with it a new semester at the University and I’m getting back into the swing of undergraduate teaching.

Exploring each year the work that we do with a new set of students – and especially why we do it -keeps alive a healthy level of questioning. It’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that the archive’s role and function is so obviously right and needed that we don’t ever need to ask ourselves if we are approaching it in the best way. The detachment which teaching engenders makes this questioning possible and keeps our approach fresh and constantly developing.

If there are new things you think we should or could be doing – do let us know because we do want to be as useful to you as we can be …
