In the Nottingham Forest dressing room Gary Newbon interviewed Forest’s manager Brian Clough and captain John McGovern about their match against Hamburg in the European Cup final. They discuss the loss of Trevor Francis due to injury and admit that they haven’t seen Hamburg play although they know Kevin Keegan and Manny Kaltz. Clough says: “we’ve got a little fat guy who’ll turn him [Kaltz] inside out”.
Source Wikipedia: The 1980 European Cup Final was a football match held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Madrid, on 28 May 1980, that saw Nottingham Forest F.C. of England defeat Hamburger SV of Germany 1–0. In the 21st minute, John Robertson squeezed a right foot shot wide of Hamburg keeper Rudolf Kargus into the corner of the net, to give Nottingham Forest F.C. back-to-back European Cup final victories. The victory also meant that Forest became the first club to date that has won the European Cup more times than their domestic first division.
The ‘little fat guy’ mentioned in the clip was John Robertson who scored the only goal of the match.
