625 Line: A Day of Cult British Television..and a sneak peek of a brand new exciting documentary!

Visitors to ‘625 Line: A Day of Cult British Television’ at Derby Quad tomorrow will get a special treat – a sneak preview of ‘From ATVLand in Colour’, the next DVD to be released by the Media Archive for Central England, produced by the brilliant guys at ATVLAND.productions.

The event at the wonderful Derby cinema, gallery and workshop space, Quad, will take place tomorrow (Saturday 30th April) from 9.30am to 10:30pm with a full day celebrating the diversity of UK Cult Television, with classic screenings, special guests and some rare gems from the archives. This is a chance to see classics from the small screen up on the big screen!

During lunch, straight after the Saturday Morning Kids Picture Show, a special 30 minutes sneak preview will be screened.

Starting at ATV’s original studios in Aston, through to the building of the new colour TV studios in Bridge Street, this documentary has  in-depth interviews with many familiar faces including Shaw Taylor (Police 5), Debbie Shore (CITV, Miss ATV), Jane Rossington (Crossroads, Emergency Ward 10), Bob Carolgees (Tiswas) and many more commenting on their time at the Lew Grade owned Midlands studio.

The documentary is produced by ATVLAND.productions for MACE and will be distributed by MACE in association with ITV Studios Ltd for £14.99. It  will be available for pre-order from MACE’s shop at http://www.macearchive.org/Mace-shop.html from next week.
