  1. I was at George Dixon Grammar School for Boys with Reg’s son Nick Harcourt….always remember Reg’s pithy political pieces on ATV Today, along with Terry ‘Tight-Lines’ Thomas, with whose daughter Her Honour Judge Sybil Thomas I work in the Family Division of Birmingham County Court. HHJ Thomas is an excellent Judge and a really nice person…..TT would be proud of what she has achieved….no glass ceiling in The Judiciary (well the Family Courts anyway!)…..I believe ‘Enfant Terrible’ of Tiswas and other risque TV programmes Chris Tarrant (who introduced the fantabulous ‘balloon dancers’ to TV audiences on his ‘adult Tiswas’…..OTT was also a keen angler I believe, did you know angling is the most popular participation sport in Britain…..Great days of live TV in Birmingham in the 1970’s and 80’s with Pebble Mill opening in Edgbaston in 1971 and New Faces which gave us Lenny Henry and Jim Davidson and other such luminaries… Brilliant Brum!!!!
