Past Lives Project open day in Madeley Saturday 10th at 1:30-4:30

The Past Lives Project will be transforming Jubilee House in Madeley, Shropshire into a vintage tea rooms, and they’d like to offer residents a warm welcome to take a step in to the past and join them for tea, coffee and cake.

Past Lives

The Past Lives project began as  touring film, live music and participatory project based on amateur movie footage from our collections.  This has now been developed into a participatory project by Debbie Adele Cooper and Dave Sturt, and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund & Arts Council. MACE are one of the project partners with Picture The Past (Photo Archive for Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) and East Midlands Oral History Archive (EMOHA)

Past Lives are  looking for cine film footage, photos and memories. At Saturday’s event you can bring a local cinefilm or photos to be digitised.  Cinefilm and photo originals will be returned to their owners.

I will also be attending and you’re very welcome to chat to me about MACE!
