Library of Birmingham’s ‘Dozens & Trails’ app features MACE films of Birmingham buildings


Twelve titles from MACE’s collections can be found on the Library of Birmingham’s app,  Dozens & Trails.

Dozens & Trails is a free app for iPhone, iPad and Android which allows you to browse and discover wonderful content, and embark on trails around Birmingham.

Dozens&Trails

In Dozens you can browse through visual highlights of the Library of Birmingham’s extensive collections, events and activities. From the extraordinary to the bizarre Dozens are hand-picked selections of personal favourites from the library’s staff, friends and partners.

In Trails you will see theme-based tours of 12 illustrated sites mapped around the city. Explore this city’s rich cultural history of innovators, benefactors and radical thinkers, on foot or at home. Find out about the city of today and discover your own connections to Birmingham past and present.

MACE material can be seen on one of the app’s trails, titles ”Birmingham Buildings 60s – 00s‘ where you can view archive film of 12 buildings in the city including the BT Tower, Birmingham Central Library, the Rotunda and Bullring and Sarehole Mill.
