Background

We are a small team dedicated to the work that we do and to giving a first class service to our users. Our reputation is built on the quality of the work we do and this role within the organisation is pivotal in maintaining that reputation.

The person we are seeking will have the required qualifications and experience as a prerequisite. We are looking for IAB bookkeeping to level 3 (or equivalent) and experience with Sage 50 Accounts. The successful candidate must be able to work on the preparation of management accounts and the regular provision of cash flow forecasts and profit and loss figures and any other reports required by the Director or the board as well as dealing with the day to day maintenance of the bank account and VAT returns etc.

The person we are seeking will also be responsible for the provision of admin support to the organisation and will undertake specific administrative functions to support colleagues in their work.

Small organisations like MACE require people who are flexible in their approach and we will be seeking someone who shows that they are ready to take on and develop what is a varied role.
