MACE’s Development Manager, Emma Morley is leaving MACE tomorrow (Friday 25th July) to work freelance in TV & Film Production.
Emma last worked in television in the early noughties as Producer’s Assistant on TV drama Peak Practice and in archive sales for Carlton Television before working for New Perspectives Theatre Company for 5 years and subsequently moving to MACE in 2009.
MACE’s Director, James Patterson says:
‘With great sadness MACE is saying goodbye to Emma Morley who has been with us as our development manager for the past 5 years. Development manager is a title that fails to reveal all the things that Emma has done and been for us. She has been busy not only developing our sales and commercial profile but also masterminding our profile and marketing as well as looking after all our book-keeping and accounting. A really remarkable portfolio given how the organisation has grown.
Many of you will have encountered her one way or another over the years and I have no doubt that you will want to join me and everyone at MACE in thanking her for the huge contribution she has made to MACE and wishing her every success in her new role.‘
‘Working for MACE has been an incredible experience and those who’ve worked with me know that I’m very passionate about the organisation and archive film. The job has been so varied, from researching and licensing film extracts to managing the accounts and marketing. I’ve had the most amazingly dedicated colleagues at MACE. I’ll miss them immensely and will be staying in touch and watching MACE continue to grow! I’ll now be working freelance, firstly as a Production Secretary in TV drama, but I do hope to still be doing some archive research in the next 30 years of my career!’
