SPEND A DAY AT THE HOME MOVIES- A HISTORY EVENT AT LINCOLN DRILL HALL


Dr. Christine Grandy, Lecturer in Modern British History at the University of Lincoln, invites you to find out about her research into social and cultural history through the medium of amateur film. Using footage from the Media Archive for Central England, Dr. Christine Grandy will take you on a journey through the wonderful world of amateur film from the Midlands.

The event will take place on Thursday 11th September at the Lincoln Drill Hall Auditorium. All are welcome and admission is free.

10am-11:30am Amateur Film during World War II
1pm-2:30pm Here and Away: Holiday Films and the Empire
7pm-8:30pm The Weird and Wonderful World of Amateur Film
