Today’s clip features various shots of several theatres in the Midlands and theatre posters promoting Christmas pantomimes in 1967.We see the exterior of the Theatre Royal in Nottingham (with promotion for Mike and Bernie Winters in Cinderella); a poster for the Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton (Ted Rogers and Dick Emery in Puss in Boots); poster outside Derby Playhouse (Aladdin with Lynda Baron); exterior of Birmingham Theatre (Aladdin with Harry Worth); Grand Theatre (do you know the location of this?) advertising Goody Two Shoes with the New Vaudeville Band; exterior of a bingo hall and ,finally, the exterior of the Newtown Palace (originally a theatre but by the 1960s a bingo hall in Birmingham).
